Bringing the vision to life: ARC Art Gallery
Faye in the Central Arkansas Collective Art Gallery, Conway, Arkansas.
The Central Arkansas Collective Art Gallery is a gallery storefront located in Conway, Arkansas inside a shared co-working space, The Studio Downtown. Faye was instrumental in creating a thoughtful vision for the space alongside James Volkert and Barbara Satterfield, who agreed that downtown Conway would benefit from having a carefully designed venue to display artwork.
Over the course of two years, Faye helped to lead a committed group of professional artists into a temporary storefront, where they hosted educational programming and public events in association with The Arnold Innovation Center/AR Conductor and with the support of Centennial Bank.
The group has hosted Arkansas artists such as Kevin Kresse and Lisa Krannichfeld, who have given in-depth art presentations at the monthly first Friday Conway ArtWalk.
Eventually the group was able to receive a generous gift from the Adcock Family Foundation to build a permanent gallery, designed by H+N Architect’s Joanna Nabholz.
The Central Arkansas Collective Art Gallery officially opened its doors in 2025, now part of the non-profit organization Blackbird Arts Collective, and has since become an important hub for regional member artists to display their work. They have participated in collaborative events alongside the Arkansas Arts Alliance and continue to showcase unique local artwork that enriches the cultural life of Central Arkansas.
